Does Tottenham star have a new inspiration?
Tottenham winger Andros Townsend has new boots fresh out the box, which he clearly hopes will turn around his fortunes.
The England international has retained his place in Roy Hodgson's international side, but his club form has been poor this season.
The 23-year-old should be cut a little slack however, as Mauricio Pochettino has not selected him to start a single Premier League game.
He has made only three substitute appearances, although has made three starts in the Europa League and two in the Capital One Cup, in which he has no assists or goals to show for his efforts.
Townsend has even been linked with a transfer to West Ham of late, and the speculation will build if he cannot force his way into the team.
It will take more than new boots to rectify this, but anything which can lift his confidence and help him play a little better when he does get the chance shouldn't be argued with.
