Ashley Young

Manchester United winger Ashley Young admits he 'can't wait' to face Manchester City on Sunday.

The 29-year-old has recently suffered injury problems but is now back to fitness for Louis van Gaal's side.

And Young took to Twitter ahead of this weekend's Manchester derby, posting a picture of him celebrating a victory against City from two years ago.

Ryan Giggs

Meanwhile, Man United boss Van Gaal has also been previewing Sunday's Premier League clash.

The Dutchman admits it is the 'biggest derby' he will have managed in and also says there is a different intensity about assistant manager Ryan Giggs when he analyses this particular fixture.

"This is the biggest derby that I shall manage," Van Gaal told reporters at a pre-match press conference.

"It is one of 38 [league] matches we have to play but for the fans it is unbelievably big as a rivalry and I have felt that also with a lot of the players in the squad.

"But also especially with Ryan Giggs. When he presented the analysis on City, I felt more tension with him. It was good to see."
