Gameweek 10 of the Premier League season is almost here and, after another dramatic week last time out, Southampton and West Ham still find themselves in the top four.
But the most anticipated game this weekend will see Louis Van Gaal experience the feel of a Manchester derby for the first time as he takes United to the Etihad to face Manuel Pellegrini's City on Sunday.
The first game of the weekend will see a resurgent Newcastle side host Liverpool in a game that has always delivered goals in the past.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton, meanwhile, all have home games that they will expect to win and those three sides get most of the focus from a fantasy football perspective this week.
DEF - Joel Ward - Crystal Palace
First, off, though, Palace host Sunderland on Monday night and Joel Ward is a cheap option at 4.8 to seriously consider this weekend. The Eagles have kept clean sheets in two of their four home games so far, while Sunderland have failed to score in their last three games away from home. Their last away trip resulted in an 8-0 loss. Nobody is expecting that sort of result but Palace will be confident of keeping a clean sheet in what could be a low-scoring affair.
DEF - Filipe Luis - Chelsea
The Brazilian will start at left-back once again as Cesar Azpilicueta continues to serve his three-match ban for the red card he picked up against Crystal Palace. Chelsea host Queens Park Rangers this week in what should be a routine victory for Jose Mouinho's side. QPR have conceded 12 goals in their four away games this season and have only scored once. Expect Luis to pick up points along with the rest of the Blues' backline.
MID - Alexis Sanchez - Arsenal
Sanchez has found form and is Arsenal's most dangerous player at the moment. The Chilean has three goals in his last two league games and will look to extend that run when the Gunners entertain a struggling Burnley side on Saturday. The visitors have not won a game all season and have conceded 12 in their last four. Sanchez's listing as a midfielder only enhances his value and he should most definitely be in your team.
MID - Eden Hazard - Chelsea
Hazard loves playing at Stamford Bridge and he could enjoy himself against QPR on Saturday afternoon. Both of his goals this season have come at home and he will be looking to pick up a few assists in a game that Chelsea should win comfortably. At 9.9 Hazard is an expensive option but one that almost guarantees points in fixtures such as this one.
FOR - Romelu Lukaku - Everton
Lukaku has improved as the season has gone on and the Belgian has now netted in each of his last two appearances. This weekend's home game against a Swansea should see the Toffees have plenty of opportunities in what is always an open game. The Swans beat Everton 3-0 in the Capital One Cup earlier this season and Everton will be desperate for revenge at home on Saturday. Expect Lukaku to be heavily involved.
