Boerrigter fitness update
Celtic winger Derk Boerrigter is set to be out for two months with injury, according to Ronny Deila.
The Bhoys boss revealed today that the Dutchman's recovery process after having an operation on a troublesome knee will take time.
"Something had been painful for a long time and he needed the operation to get it right, so he is going to be out for two months and hopefully when he comes back he will be totally fit and can improve as a player," he said to Celtic's official site.
Deila not bothered by Rangers match
Ronny Deila is not bothered by the fact that he has not been able to face Rangers during his time as manager of Celtic yet.
The Norwegian boss insists that winning trophies is more important than beating Celtic's rivals.
“If we win the Treble, the history books will show that we did that – not that we managed to beat Rangers," he said to the Daily Record.
“So you have to see a big picture. I fully understand there is a lot of emotion around the whole issue. I have seen it and I know all about it."
McCoist pleased with form
Rangers manager Ally McCoist says that he is happy with the way the side are performing at the minute.
The Light Blues didn't get off to the best start to the season, but they have won their last five matches and McCoist is delighted with their current form.
"It is pleasing to get five wins and equally pleasing to get four clean sheets in that run of games," he said to the Evening Times.
