David Moyes could be given the chance to relaunch his career in Spain with reports suggesting that Real Sociedad want him to take the reins.
Moyes has been out of a job since his Manchester United tenure ended in disappointment, but he has previously been linked with the Inter job.
Despite his ignominious fate at Old Trafford, Moyes is still widely respected for his excellent work at Everton and remains well regarded by many top European clubs.
Arrasate was promoted from youth boss last summer but he has struggled and seen his side win just one in nine in La Liga this season as well as being beaten in the Europa League by FC Krasnodar.
Real Sociedad's president has already admitted that he is talking to other candidates for the bench with ex-Tottenham manager Juande Ramos and former West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel said to be possibilities.
It is not known for certain whether Moyes has received a call yet, but reports in Europe suggest he has.
