Popular former Spurs star Sandro still remains in touch with his old teammates, and caught up with Erik Lamela on Thursday.
The Argentine posted a photo online to show his happiness at catching up with the Brazilian, who was sold to QPR on deadline day.
At his very best, Sandro was an integral part of the Spurs side, but did not recover his best form after a serious knee injury, and then fell out with then head coach Tim Sherwood at the end of last season.
Mauricio Pochettino decided then to sell him on transfer deadline day to QPR for £10 million, much to the regret of many, with the Brazilian a fan favourite at White Hart Lane, with Sandro rejoining the manager who signed him for Tottenham, Harry Redknapp.
It has been a disappointing start to the season for Sandro at QPR, who have registered only two Premier League wins in nine games and look to face a relegation battle, at least at this early stage.
There is still a good chance they can bounce back and rise up the table, and there can't be a Spurs fan who feels Sandro should be playing Championship football, but it is up to him to prove that over the course of the coming campaign.
