How Manchester United fans reacted to controversial comments from Aleksandr Kolarov.
Manchester City defender Aleksandr Kolarov laid down the gauntlet ahead of the derby this weekend, by taunting their rivals.
The reigning Premier League champions host Manchester United on Sunday, with the Serbian telling Talksport earlier this week he was part of the dominant side
"I think every player in the world would like to play [in] this game. United has a great history but in the last five or six years, I think we have been superior to them."
United trailed behind City last season, floundering under David Moyes to finish only seventh.
City are four points ahead in the league this season already, but are coming into the game off the back of two successive losses in all competitions, while United have also failed to win their last two games.
Such comments from Kolarov are only likely to ingratiate himself further with the City support, but as far as Manchester United fans are concerned, he is getting carried away.
After his statement, fans of the Red Devils flooded social media with their responses, from arguing the point that over the time period stated, United had won four league titles to City's two, to simply mocking the defender.
Here's a selection of their comebacks...
