Inter made no secret of their desire to snap up Tom Ince, but he snubbed the Italian giants for Hull City and the Italian press are now questioning that decision.
The 22-year-old was in demand in the summer and he met with Inter directors but felt that he wasn't at the right stage of his career to follow in the footsteps of his father, Paul, who played for the Nerazzurri.
Ince seemed to choose Hull because he believed he would get more regular first-team football, but that hasn't materialised.
After playing just four games and not featuring since August, Ince has been loaned to Nottingham Forest.
Inter have been struggling somewhat this season and some feel that Ince may have actually had more chances to impress in Walter Mazzarri's side than may have been expected.
Mazzarri has looked short of options in midfield and attack and has often lacked a wide man who can make things happen, maybe Ince could have been that man.
