David Gold asked if West Ham United can beat Stoke City in Premier League

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has confidence in the players’ ability to pick up maximum points from the Premier League clash at Stoke City on Saturday.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold believes that the side can get the better of Stoke City away from home.

The Hammers will take on the Potters at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sam Allardyce’s side have made a truly brilliant start to the season and will head into the game placed fourth in the league table.

West Ham have picked up 16 points from nine matches, and Gold expects the players to continue the winning run at Stoke on Saturday.

London outfit West Ham will indeed head into the match as the favourites, having won their last three Premier League games. The Hammers have also played some good football, with a top-six finish looking a possibility.

However, Stoke should not be written off just yet. Mark Hughes’s side are currently 12th in the league standings with 11 points from nine matches and do have the potential to bring West Ham back to earth on Saturday.
