Southampton youngster Matt Targett has continued to play a part in the the club's League Cup run, impressing away to Stoke.
He helped the Saints to a 3-2 victory, continuing to enhance his reputation as a star of the future.
Targett, 19, has had to make do with a place on the sidelines behind Chelsea loanee Ryan Bertrand in the Premier League this season, making just one substitute appearance.
The teenager was though making his third start in the Capital One Cup, as Southampton progressed to a quarter-final tie away to Sheffield United.
With academy graduate Luke Shaw being sold to Manchester United for £30 million in the summer, the emergence of Targett shows that the talent in the club's youth ranks just keeps on coming through.
Targett is an England under-20 international, and a player who is pushing for more appearances under Ronald Koeman.
