Manchester United are the most error-prone team in the Premier League, making more mistakes than any other side so far this season.
|Errors Leading To Shots|
Newcastle United and Everton are next on the list of teams most guilty of gifting their opposition chances, but both have only done so six times.
It shows an obvious area of improvement that Louis Van Gaal's side need to work on if they are to meet expectations this season.
United have improved in recent weeks, but making so many mistakes against top teams is likely to prove costly and breaking into the top-four whilst doing so will be very difficult.
Van Gaal's team do have the attacking talent to compensate for their defensive vulnerabilities, but sloppiness is something which cannot be afforded.
United's defence is particularly young this season and their inexperience is clearly being exploited at the moment.
At the opposite end of the list, Stoke City, Hull City and Aston Villa have only made one error leading to a shot.
Although the trio have nowhere near as much class as United, it does highlight that they are well organised and they will be aiming to keep errors out of their game as the season progresses.
