Stewart Downing tops the charts when it comes to the amount of accurate crosses delivered so far this season.
But, for a target man, Carroll should really be looking forward to heading home the delivery of a different team-mate - one that was also with him at Liverpool.
|Team||Pos||Accurate Crosses||Crossing Accuracy (%)||Corner Kick Accuracy (%)||Apps||Mins|
|Stewart Downing||West Ham||MF||22||31.88||33.33||9||809|
|Ángel Di María||Man Utd||MF||19||22.62||32.00||7||573|
|Chris Brunt||West Brom||MF||16||26.23||27.59||9||756|
As Opta stats show, the 30-year-old has delivered 22 accurate crosses for the Hammers this term. No other top-flight player has landed as many.
Manchester United's Angel Di Maria, however, is only three behind - having played two games and over 200 minutes less than Downing. Southampton's Dusan Tadic, too, is on 19 accurate crosses for the campaign.
Neither are more accurate when it comes to their deliveries, though, with Downing's 31 per cent crossing accuracy trumping both the United and Southampton duo.
In that department, it comes as little surprise to see Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas come out on top once again. The Spaniard has a 39% crossing accuracy, with his nearest rival being Chelsea loanee Victor Moses, on 35.
When it comes to set-piece accuracy, the Blues duo are also a cut above the rest, with Fabregas having landed an incredible 54% of his corners.
Chris Brunt completes the top six, showing that the art of crossing is still very much alive in the Premier League. Good news for Carroll.
