Arsenal played well against Sunderland last weekend to secure a 2-0 win, which helped to banish the frustration which surrounded the side after the 2-2 draw against Hull.
Arteta has suggested that the only way Arsenal can claw themselves back into the title race is by being consistent.
“We need to be consistent now and get the points because you know how difficult it is,” he told Arsenal’s website.
“You look at Manchester City dropping points, you look at Liverpool dropping points and that tells you how difficult this league has become.”
Next up for Arsenal is a Premier League game against Burnley where they will be looking to get November off to a good start in the league.
The Gunners then host Anderlecht in the Champions League, as they look for a more comprehensive win than they managed in the last round of European games in Belgium.
Winning breeds a strong and positive mentality which Arsene Wenger will want to take forward from one game into the next.
If Arsenal can reduce their weakness and become more consistent with regards to their strengths, they will slowly start to accumulate a lot of points heading into a bust winter schedule and that works to their advantage as they try and close the gap on the sides above them.
November also sees back-to-back games against Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund so it’s important Arsenal have that consistency and form in place heading into those important fixtures.
