Manchester United morning news: United linked with another left-back, Ajax eye Januzaj

A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester United.

The Express claims Manchester United are interested in a potential swoop for Ashley Cole.

Cole has struggled to fit in at Roma since he moved to the Serie A club over the summer.

Rudi Garcia is thought to have doubts over Cole’s suitability in relation to his philosophy at the club.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has admitted that Ajax are keen on signing Adnan Januzaj.

Van der Sar has revealed he’s confident the Dutch club, where he’s a director, would be able to work out a loan deal.

“Well, if you have the number of his agent: give it me with confidence. But I fear that we can’t pay his salary,” he said.

Leon Osman has urged Everton fans to forgive David Moyes for leaving for Manchester United.

Moyes was sacked less than a season into his role at United after struggling to cope with the demands at Old Trafford.

“It was no surprise that Davie Moyes tried to sign players from Everton. I think, as fans, we should find it easy to forgive him. He loves the club, he really does,” said Osman.
