Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has revealed which of his United teammates he’d have in his ideal five-a-side team.
Speaking in an exclusive Q&A session for the Manchester United, Mata revealed a surprise when he left out close friend Ander Herrera when he was asked who he’d want on his team in the common shorter format of the game.
“I don’t want to be unfair on everyone else but I would definitely pick an offensive team. So it would be me, Wazza, Robin, Radamel and Angel. Ander will be angry with me but I don’t mind! [Laughs],” he told manunited.com.
Mata arguably fits into the collective of the most attacking players at the club and it’s unsurprising that he’d have two of the club’s summer signings on his team.
Angel Di Maria has been superb since he joined the club in a £60 million deal from Real Madrid although he will be determined to react to a difficult performance against Chelsea last weekend.
Radamel Falcao will also be keen to add to his goalscoring tally in the Premier League, but is capable of turning any game, in any format, in United’s favour quickly.
