Michael Higdon was Sheffield United's hero last night, as he netted twice in the closing stages to put them into the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.
The Blades had appeared to be heading out of the competition after MK Dons took the lead in the second-half, but they staged a dramatic comeback to turn the tie around.
Scoring late goals is something which Nigel Clough's side have proven to be specialists at so far this season and Higdon's brace was important.
The club have placed a great importance on doing well in the League Cup and getting to the final eight is a great achievement for a club of League One status.
It was also important for Higdon to hit the back of the net, as he has started slowly since moving to the club over the summer.
The Blades' lack of a clinical front-man has been their major problem over the first few games of the campaign, with none of their current strike-force hitting the back as regularly as was hoped.
Although Marc McNulty has shown promise off the substitutes' bench, Higdon is still the man who appears to be Clough's first choice and his goals last night have encouraged Blades fans that it could start a purple patch for the powerful forward.

Higdon had fire in his belly after receiving some deserved criticism for his immobility when he came on. Soon stepped up to the plate! #sufc— Blades Mad (@Blades_Mad) October 28, 2014
