EA give the cops and robbers Battlefield game a release date at the close of their fiscal year

Battlefield Hardline publishers Electronic Arts have provided a release date for the game in a financial report published online.

The game in development by Visceral Games with help from DICE is to launch next year on 17th March in North America and 19th March in Europe. This follows a delay from the planned release date this autumn after Visceral and EA decided to hold the game back to work in changes arising from feedback from players that played the Hardline beta.

According to DICE group manager Karl Magnus Troedsso, areas that are being attended to include multiplayer “core features” and the addition of new features for the single-player campaign as well as general balancing and stability optimisation.

When Battlefield Hardline lands next year it will be available for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
