Gunners forward is starring on loan at MK Dons as he banged in his sixth from four League Cup appearances against Sheffield United last night.
Afobe converted a penalty midway through the second half of a Capital One Cup clash with Sheffield United, yet his goal - which gave MK Dons a 1-0 lead - was canceled out later in the match, before the Blades found a dramatic winner.
On loan from Arsenal, Afobe has come of age at Stadium:mk and there are a number of Gunners fans who are excited at the player's potential.
However, other supporters believe Afobe has simply found his level and will impress at League One or even Championship competition, but struggle to assert himself at a Premier League club like Arsenal.
A 21-year-old forward, Afobe has scored six goals from three starts and one substitute appearance in the League Cup, and six goals from six starts and seven as a sub in League One.

If I'm not mistaken that goal against Sheffield now puts Afobe at 13 for the season in all competitions. That's pretty stellar for the kid.— Doug Nichols (@TheTXI) October 28, 2014
Benik Afobe with yet another goal for the MK Dons though. Hate to think he's found his level! #AFC— Ashley Marshalleck (@ashmarshy) October 28, 2014
Afobe is having the time of his life at MK Dons. Has he found his level or is it just that he's now coming back from injury well— Divraj (@divrajsingh) October 28, 2014
