U.S. residents will see a timed $50 price drop for the Xbox One console next month.

In an announcement from Microsoft, the company said it's dropping $50 from the usual price of its Xbox One consoles, for 'The Season of Xbox' beginning on 2 November. This deal has currently only been announced for US residents.

The Xbox One offer takes the console's price down to just $349 for a limited time (until 3rd January 2015). This promotion applies to any Xbox One console, including game bundles.

Those bundles include the Sunset Overdrive white console, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle with 1TB storage, and more.

A video detailing the price drop deal is below, along with talking about the various bundles and games on offer.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Microsoft stated there was no word on whether the UK would be getting a similar price drop, saying: 'We have nothing more to announce at this time.'

At the end of the video above it does state 'regional availabilty and timing outside the U.S. will vary.' So could we be hearing of similar deals this side of the pond? We'll have to wait and see.
