Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed reports linking Harry Kane with a move away from the club, and insists the striker has a bright future at White Hart Lane.
Kane, 21, has been in excellent form in the cup competitions this season, scoring six goals, including a hat-trick against Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League last week.
The England Under-21 international is still to make an impact in the Premier League, however, having made just five brief appearances for a total of 68 minutes, despite the recent struggles of fellow front men Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
That’s lead to recent speculation that the youngster could be on the move come the winter, with Southampton reported to be lining up a £10 million bid to bring him to the south coast.
‘I am head coach and I have to make decisions on selection. I have to analyse the situation and pick different players.
‘Harry shares a position with other players in the squad and all the players have the opportunity to play and to show themselves.
‘There will be many changes tomorrow and maybe Harry will be in the first eleven.’
