'They can score whenever they want' - Forest star praises teammates

Nottingham Forest's Robert Tesche has moved to praise Britt Assombalonga and Michail Antonio.

Nottingham Forest summer signing Robert Tesche has praised Britt Assombalonga and Michail Antonio.

The attacking pair have carried much of Forest's goalscoring threat throughout the season so far, and Tesche says that it feels as if they can score whenever they want to.

"Britt has nine goals and Michail has seven and it feels as though they can score whenever they want. That is good for us, because we need goals," Tesche said to the Nottingham Post.

The duo were both brought in at the City Ground this summer and have made flying starts to their Forest careers - scoring a combined 16 goals already.

It is the strength of this attack which has propelled them up the table and into promotion contention, but the side's form more recently has been slightly concerning.

The Reds have not won once in their past eight fixtures across all competitions and a serious up-turn in form will be required if they are to break back into the top two.

What will help that cause will be the rest of the team chipping in with goals. Forest's only other player with more than one goal to his name so far is Matty Fryatt and Stuart Pearce will be hoping to improve this soon.

The side's next game comes this weekend, when they take on Huddersfield Town as they look to get back on track with a win.
