Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin may have stolen the headlines from their victory last night against Aston Villa, but it was Eduardo Vargas who has taken much of the acclaim on Twitter.
Austin scored both of the R's goals against Villa in their 2-0 success, but Vargas' tireless energy and class in possession has earned him a lot of admirers.
The Chilean only arrived at Loftus Road this summer, but he has wasted no time impressing after being given his chance and he looks a key member of the first-team now.
Vargas generally plays as a striker, but was utilised in a more withdrawn role by Harry Redknapp.
However, the unnatural position he was playing in did not seem to negatively impact on his display and the club's supporters will have been very encouraged by what they saw.
Vargas has managed to draw comparisons to Manchester City's Sergio Aguero from some fans, whilst others were just happy to praise what was an excellent performance.
The task for Vargas and the rest of the team will be to build on this important victory now, as they look to push on up the table after a disappointing start.
Here is the best reaction to Vargas' display on Twitter.
