Fierce rivals Manchester United and Manchester City clash at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, and Luke Shaw - who grew up 200 miles away from Manchester - doesn't need lecturing about the importance of such an occasion.
It'll be the first Manchester showdown that the Surrey-born teenager will have played in - and the first for the rest of Louis van Gaal's team, including the likes of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria.
Nonetheless, Shaw believes each and every one of them will be acutely aware of what the fixture means to the fans. Speaking of Sunday's fixture, he United's official website: "It's pretty obvious what this match means to the fans and the club. I don't think I need to be told about it and the others (new signings) will be aware too.
"I've watched it for the past years and I've seen how much it means to everyone. It's a massive occasion for everyone involved in it. We need to come out firing on Sunday."
The youngster enjoyed his best game as a United player in his side's 1-1 weekend draw with Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Although the Blues top the table, arguably the biggest test for Van Gaal's side will come on Sunday when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on their city rivals.
A win here would see the Red Devils move within a point off Manuel Pellegrini's current league champions.
