A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester United.

SportWitness has run a report detailing a Manchester United scouting trip to Portugal last weekend.

According to O Jogo, United were one of several clubs reported to have scouts at the game between Braga and Benfica.

United reportedly use Portugal frequently to keep a close watch on a number of active transfer targets.

Manchester United star Angel Di Maria and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo are set to reunite at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo has been named in the Portugal squad to face Argentine on November 18 with the match taking place at Old Trafford.

Links over Ronaldo’s possible return to United have gone cold although he enjoys a positive relationship with his former Real Madrid teammate.

The Telegraph claims Louis van Gaal has told Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini that he won’t be sold.

Fellaini’s future under LvG has been the subject of much doubt but reports suggest the Dutchman sees a future for him at Old Trafford.

Fellaini was superb in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend, which saw the Belgian restrict the influence of Cesc Fabregas.
