Leeds United attacker Noel Hunt is delighted to have played 90 minutes of football today.
Leeds United attacker Noel Hunt has been on the fringes of the first team so far this season, but he remains an important part of the squad.
The 31-year-old Republic of Ireland international joined the Championship outfit in the summer of 2013 after being released by Reading at the end of the 2012-13 season.
Much was expected of Hunt at Elland Road, but he suffered with injuries last season and did not have the impact he would have wanted to have. This term, too, the former Dundee United star has struggled for playing time and has featured for the Under-21 team.
Soon-to-be Leeds manager Neil Redfearn has already highlighted the important of Hunt in the team, and it appears that the Irishman is keen on re-establishing himself in the first team.
Hunt played 90 minutes in what was probably a practice match today and took to social networking site Twitter to reveal his delight at doing so.

Leeds are back in action in the Championship on Saturday when they take on Cardiff City away from home.
