Jesse Eisenberg could take Lex Luthor into DC Comics' Suicide Squad

Reports indicate the Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg in the upcoming DC Comics movie Batman v Superman could also show up in Suicide Squad.

One of the recently-revealed movies which is part of the DC comics movie universe is Suicide Squad, and a character rumoured to feature in the movie is Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg. Eisenberg is first set to play Superman's archenemy in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The rumour comes from, who says Warner Bros. are talking to Eisenberg about taking the Lex Luthor character he'll portray, and using him in the Suicide Squad movie also scheduled for release in 2016.

Suicide Squad is to be directed by David Ayer (Fury). Will Smith, Tom Hardy, and Margot Robbie have previously be reported to have been approached about taking on roles in the movie too.

Suicide Squad is the story of a group of supervillains that's put together by the U.S. government to take on high-risk black ops. The movie is due for a 5th August 2016 release.
