Collymore concerned for Villa - calls for this man to be the saviour?

Loftus Road

Former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore believes Tony Pulis can help remedy the club's ailing form after losing to Queens Park Rangers.

Aston Villa's rotten form continued as the Midlands outfit lost to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

A brace of goals arrived from Charlie Austin, as QPR moved away from the foot of the Premier League table and into 19th, with seven points now tallied from nine games.

Villa, meanwhile, stay in 15th place - just two points clear of the relegation zone.

For former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore, the form and performance-level of his old club is a cause of concern.

Midway through the game, he asked his 661,000 Twitter followers "what's going on?"

He later added: "[I'm] worried about us now… desperate times."

Collymore also intimated that there could be one man with the credentials necessary to remedy the ailing Villains - Tony Pulis.

He said: "I wonder if Pulis might be an option."
