Chelsea morning news: Terry angry over Manchester United 'double headlocks'

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea captain John Terry has implied the club could have been awarded one of two penalties against Manchester United yesterday.

Terry and Blues teammate Branislav Ivanovic appeared to both be fouled by United players during the same set piece.

“Great goal from @didierdrogba today, Frustrated not to come away with 3 points. Great performance and it shows how well we are playing when you come away from Old Trafford disappointed with 1 point. Thanks to all the travelling fans for your great support. #JTandIVAgotdoubleheadlockedfromeverycorner,” said the star on Twitter.

Goalscorer Didier Drogba also suggested that had Chelsea had more luck from the referee, then the result could have been different.

Drogba scored a fantastic header from a corner but says there’s a feeling of disappointment around the club because of only leaving Old Trafford with a point.

Jose Mourinho has been left frustrated by the red card shown to Branislav Ivanovic during the game.

The Serbian was sent off after two yellow cards for challenges on Manchester United star Angel Di Maria.

“We have a little space now for our mistakes ... or for referees' mistakes,” said the boss after the game.
