Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor scored against Newcastle United at White Hart Lane on Sunday, but he still failed to impress the fans.
The 30-year-old forward has been on the books of the North London outfit on a permanent contract since the summer of 2012, having joined them on a season-long loan deal for the 2012-12 season.
However, in the last two years, the Togolese has been largely inconsistent and is hardly one who can be called a ‘top striker’.
Adebayor has struggled for goals this season, but the former Arsenal striker was on target against Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday. The ex- Manchester City man took advantage of poor defending from the Magpies in the 18th minute to head home Ryan Mason’s delivery.
However, as the stats below show, Adebayor did not have any more shots, but he played two key passes.

Tottenham fans were frustrated with the performance of Adebayor against Newcastle and made their opinion clear on social networking site Twitter.
