Queens Park Rangers host Aston Villa on Monday evening with Harry Redknapp’s side desperate for points.
QPR are currently bottom of the Premier League table after picking up just four points from their first eight matches and they will know how important it is not to be cast adrift with November fast-approaching.
Villa are six points better off than Monday’s opponents, but they will not be taking the game lightly and will know they have to get back to winning ways after seeing their early-season form fall away amid some very tough matches.
QPR injury concerns: Robert Green is ill but has a strong chance of playing. Nedum Onuoha should also feature despite having a slight hamstring injury and Sandro is expected to overcome a knock.
QPR absences: Jordon Mutch’s hamstring problem means he will not feature until next month. Joey Barton has a hamstring injury and is unlikely to play while Alejandro Faurlin is a long-term absentee.
Aston Villa injury concerns: Nathan Baker has a hamstring injury but has a strong chance of featuring but Philippe Senderos’s thigh injury means he is less likely to play.
Aston Villa absences: Fabian Delph and Libor Kozak are out for the long-term.
Predicted starting line-ups:
