Mario Balotelli, Adam Lallana and Eldin Jakupovic all feature.
Liverpool struggled throughout the game to break down the five-man defence of Hull, with Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana both cutting dejected figures throughout the game.
But when Liverpool did find chances, they found a third-choice goalkeeper in top form.
Only playing because of injuries to Allan McGregor and Steve Harper, Eldin Jakupovic put in an excellent performance at Anfield to give Hull a share of the spoils.
Some of Liverpool's best moments happened after Philippe Coutinho entered the fray. The Brazilian was a wizard at times and will have done his chances of a more regular starting spot no harm with his cameo.
Mario Balotelli was once again in the spotlight. He played the full 90 minutes of the game and again came up short. But he looked visibly devastated at missing a 90th minute chance - which offers hope that Balotelli is at least feeling the burden, not just going for the ride.
But overall Liverpool will be disappointed not to come away with three points from this one.
