Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Blackburn loss: 'Give Pearce time'

It seems some fans already want the Forest boss's head. Many, however, have leapt to his defence.

Nottingham Forest fans were understandably disappointed at their side's 3-1 Championship defeat to Blackburn Rovers yesterday.

And it seems some fans are already fed up of boss Stuart Pearce. After the game, the Forest boss told reporters:

"We were reasonably pleased in the first half to come in ahead. We felt we could get on top of them in the second half; we felt we could get a second goal.

"But we did not take the game by the scruff of the neck and the more Blackburn got on top of us, the more we did not show the leadership required to stem the flow.

"It was a disappointing afternoon and I am not going to gloss over that."

Pearce's side are now on a terrible run of form, although this was only their first home defeat of the season. Forest have dropped from first to seventh and many critics argue that their performance levels have gone from bad - even when they were winning - to worse after this Blackburn loss.

But it seems a sizeable portion of Nottingham Forest fans are having none of it. Any calls for Pearce's head are being dismissed and the team, despite a disappointing defeat, has plenty of time to gel. Here are the best fan reactions on Twitter...
