Jordan Williams has become the latest Liverpool youngster to take part in a question-and-answer session for the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old has played five times for Liverpool’s under-21s this season and he also made his debut for Wales at that level in September of this year.
His versatility is such that he could one day become a vital part of Liverpool’s squad, given that he can play as a centre-back, a defensive midfielder or a right-back when required.
Among the questions answered, Williams revealed the Liverpool player he most admired and his footballing idol when he was growing up.
The teenager revealed – somewhat unsurprisingly given his age and position – that of all Liverpool’s players he most admired Steven Gerrard, while Ronaldinho is the player he looked up to when he was growing up.
There are a number of young players tipped to break through at Anfield in the years to come, including the likes of Jordan Rossiter and Harry Wilson, but Williams could join them, especially when he could solve any one of a number of problems if called upon.
