Calum Chambers and Lukas Podolski react to Arsenal win on Twitter

Chambers, Wilshere, Szczesny celebrate

Arsenal defeated Sunderland 2-0 yesterday thanks to a brace from Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League after a breace from Alexis Sanchez earned them all three points against Sunderland at The Stadium of Light.

So how did the Arsenal players react on Twitter...

Lukas Podolski was in no doubt who to thank for Arsenal yesterday. Alexis' two goals did indeed prove the difference in the end. His energy and dynamism up front caused problems for Sunderland throughout the game. It was that work-rate which saw him capitalise on mistakes from Wes Brown and Vito Mannone to give Arsenal victory - and Podolski was thankful on Twitter...

Calum Chambers was pleased not to concede a goal in the game. He started the game at right-back, but swapped to centre-back later in the game when Kieran Gibbs left the field injured for Arsenal.

While for one player he had to watch and Tweet. Jack Wilshere was suspended for the game and he casually quipped about missing the game on Twitter - suggesting he needs to learn how to tackle.
