Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised his former El Classico rival Angel Di Maria ahead of their game with Manchester United

Cesc Fabregas, 27, explained to CTV why former Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria is perfect for Manchester United and what kind of threat he will be to Chelsea tomorrow when the two sides meet.

''Man United suits Di Maria very well,'' said Fabregas

''He is always very active, he always wants to go forward and it feels like he never gets tired.

''He keeps putting in crosses - they can be better or worse - but he always feels a threat.

''We have to try to keep him quiet.''

Di Maria joined Manchester United in the summer for a British record fee of £59.7million and he, despite the club's position in the league, has been touted as one of this season's top Premier League performers.

The Argentine international has claimed three goals and four assists since his move to Old Trafford in August, and has consistently been touted as Manchester United's biggest threat despite Falcao also joining the club in the latter stages of the transfer window.

Cesc Fabregas and Angel Di Maria will be a main talking point for both opposition managers tomorrow, as both have the capability of being the match winner.

Fabregas has one goal and seven assists for Chelsea this season and has been outstanding in all of Chelsea's 'big games' so far, and will want to have a similar impact against Manchester United.

The win for Manchester United could see them into fifth, ahead of Arsenal, only a point behind West Ham. A win for Chelsea would see them extend their lead at the top of the league to six points; eight points clear of last season's champions Manchester City.
