Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen believes that Manchester City are the most entertaining team to watch in the Premier League.
The ex-England international made the comments on social networking site Twitter.
Owen’s opinion will be shared by many football followers. City have an array of top-class creative players who do play very good football.
Under manager Manuel Pellegrini, City play attacking football and always try to outscore the opposition. Arsenal are often claimed to play the best football in England, but the Citizens should be given the credit for being entertaining as well as for getting the results.
City are in action later today when they take on West Ham United at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League.
Looking ahead to the contest, Owen write on Betvictor: ‘Both sides are, arguably, better going forward and in Sergio Aguero and Diafra Sakho we have two strikers making PL history.
‘Aguero’s record of nine goals in the opening eight games of the season has never been bettered, and Sakho is only the second player in PL history, after Mick Quinn, to have scored in each of his first five starts in the division; expect to see goals’.
City will be favourites to win this afternoon’s encounter at West Ham, but the Hammers cannot be written off as they have been brilliant so far this season.
The Manchester outfit will head into the game placed second in the Premier League table with 17 points from eight matches, while West Ham are four points behind them in fourth.
