Liverpool's struggles continued as they could only draw 0-0 at home to Hull City this weekend.
The Reds may have had the vast majority of possession but they continued to falter in scoring positions, with just four of their 17 goal attempts hitting the target. Even then, Brendan Rodgers' side found third-choice Tigers goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic between them and a much-needed win.
With Mario Balotelli still failing in his role as goal-scoring saviour following the sale of Luis Suarez and the injury absence of Daniel Sturridge, most eyes were on Raheem Sterling, but the young England international also failed to inspire his side to a win.
Sterling played two key passes during the match and had four goal-scoring attempts, but much like his teammates only one of those was on target. He also went on six dribbles and had a passing accuracy of 86.84 per cent, while his 11 forward passes spoke of a player at least trying to kick-start his side's season.

But it was not to be, with Hull holding on for a well-deserved point and Liverpool fans wondering just where this season will go from here.
There is still plenty of time for the club to get back to winning ways, but they look a completely different team from the one that tore apart so many opponents last season, and that will worry Rodgers.
After the match, we took to Twitter to see what Liverpool fans made of Sterling's performance and below you can read a selection of what we found:
Please, where's Raheem Sterling. Liverpool in general have been disappointing so far— Olawale Dimeji (@shegzz16) October 25, 2014
As creative as he is, I think Raheem Sterling is the most selfish player in the Liverpool TEAM - even unnecessarily so. #LIVHUL— Goodman Luphondo (@LuphondoMr) October 25, 2014
Tbh Sterling has been poor, would have rather seen him go off then Lallana— Brett (@StudgePool) October 25, 2014
