Leeds United's skipper has been speaking ahead of their encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The new boss has failed to oversee a win despite taking charge over a month ago, but skipper Pearce believes it will take time to get the best out of the squad, especially when you consider the number of new arrivals in the summer.
In quotes published by the Yorkshire Post, Pearce said of his side, “It’s still a work in progress. There’ve been a few changes to the team and I don’t know if the gaffer knows what his best team is yet but hopefully we’re not too far away.
“Everyone’s pushing each other and we’ve got a massive squad here. If there’s a suspension or an injury then players are pushing.”
Leeds take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon and after taking an impressive point from their away game against Norwich City last time out, Milanic’s side may see this as the perfect opportunity to finally get that first victory on the board.
