CONFIRMED: West Ham and Manchester City line-ups

Upton Park

Here is how West Ham United and Manchester City will line up for this afternoon’s match:

West Ham starting XI: Adrien, Cresswell, Reid, Collins, Jenkinson, Song, Amilfitano, Noble, Downing, Valencia, Sakho

West Ham subs: Jaaskelainen, Kouyate, Vaz Te, O'Brien, Poyet, Cole, Nolan

Manchester City starting XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy, Navas, Toure, Fernando, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko

Manchester City subs: Caballero, Kolarov, Demichelis, Sagna, Fernandinho, Milner, Jovetic

West Ham United host Manchester City in today’s lunch-time kick-off, with the visitors knowing they can go just two points behind league leaders Chelsea with a win.

But the Hammers will have ambitions of their own, and after their fine start to the season there is no reason they cannot cause a shock against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

City are without injured duo Frank Lampard and Samir Nasri, while West Ham welcome Cheikhou Kouyate back into the squad.

Last season City beat West Ham a total of four times and those encounters will be fresh in Sam Allardyce’s mind. But this Hammers side is markedly different from the one City last faced, and with home support there could be a shock on the cards.
