Cole, Cresswell & Adrian react on Twitter to West Ham's win over Manchester City

The West Ham stars were jubilant after beating the Premier League champions.

Another weekend brings another win for West Ham United. And against the Premier League champions no less!

Sam Allardyce's men produced a memorable performance full of energy yesterday, as they beat Manchester City 2-1.

And the result keeps them in the top four, just six points behind league-leaders Chelsea (albeit with the Blues having a game in hand).

That small detail will not deter the joyous West Ham fans and players, however, and the mood at Upton Park is currently better than it's been in years.

"It's a great win, against a massive team but, with all the respect that we had for them, we've produced a big performance," midfielder and goalscorer Morgan Amalfitano told West Ham TV.

"It was difficult right up until the end but we're united as a team and so when it's like that, when you defend as a unit, you can attack better too. That's what made the difference.

"With five added minutes, we knew that it was going to be very tough. We gave nothing away, so we bring back the important victory that we now have."

And Amalfitano was joined by the likes of Aaron Cresswell, Carlton Cole and Adrian in celebrating the victory.

The trio took to Twitter after the game, with Cresswell and Adrian two of the Hammers' man-of-the-match candidates (won by midfielder Alex Song).
