Arsenal won 2-0 against Sunderland on Saturday to climb back up to fifth in the Premier League table.
Alexis Sanchez put the Gunners ahead in the 30th minute and that was how the match stayed until injury-time, when the Chilean international doubled his tally for the day and ensured Arsene Wenger's side headed back to North London with a relatively easy win.
The result was another blow for the Black Cats, who lost 8-0 to Southampton last time out, but at least they put in a far more solid defensive display a week on.
Arsenal had 57 per cent possession and 15 attempts on goal, but just a third of those were on target and Gus Poyet can be relatively pleased with his side's rear-guard action.
That said, Arsenal still secured the win, leaving Sunderland just one point above the relegation zone with nearly a quarter of the season played.
