Pearce: MIlanic doesn't know his best team

Jason Pearce has suggested that Darko Milanic still doesn't know his best Leeds United team.

The Slovenian is yet to oversee his first win since taking over and Pearce thinks the new boss is still learning about the quality of his squad.

"It's still a work in progress with the team," he said to LUTV. "There's been a few changes and I don't know if the gaffer knows what his best team is at the moment."

"Every time a team is picked everyone is going out there and giving their all and we are trying to stick together and do our best."

Gray pleased with Helan

Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray is happy with the performance which Jeremy Helan put in against Brentford on Tuesday night.

Helan made a rare start against the Bees and Gray has hailed the winger's patience in waiting for his chance.

“He knows he’s had to wait for his opportunity but credit to him," he said to the Sheffield Telegraph. "He trains really hard; he came in and did well against Brentford.”

Evans on Clake-Harris

Steve Evans believes that Rotherham United record-signing Jonson Clarke-Harris still has developing to do.

Clarke-Harris has been superb since being introduced to Championship level, but Evans believes that he can improve even more if he stays with the Millers.

“I think there’s a lot more to come and he has staggering potential," Evans said to the Yorkshire Post.

Blades want Davies

Sheffield United are making an attempt to sign Blackpool striker Steven Davies on loan, according to the Sheffield Telegraph.

The Blades are on the look-out for a front-man and it seems that Nigel Clough has identified Davies as the man to improve their goalscoring threat.
