Arsenal have handed professional contracts to youngsters Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Stefan O'Connor.
The youth-team duo are considered two of the Gunners' top prospects for the future and they had their futures sorted today.
The pair have put pen to paper on their first senior deals, and will now be looking to push on and make it into the Arsenal first-team.
The duo have been playing above their age-groups, at Under-21 level, for some time and they have clearly impressed enough to be considered as potential stars of the first-team in the future.
Maitland-Niles is a winger who has caught the eye due to his pace and power, whilst O'Connor plays as a defender.
The pair are unlikely to break through into the team this campaign, but they will be ambitious of doing so soon.
The likes of Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs have shown that it is possible to break into the first-team and become a regular starter.
Maitland-Niles and O'Connor also have former youth-team members Hector Bellerin, Chuba Akpom and Emiliano Martinez to look up to examples in the current squad, as all three have made their debuts for the senior side in recent times.
