It was certainly an eventful night at White Hart Lane last night, as Tottenham Hotspur secured three points against Greek side Asteras Tripolis.
The Premier League side ended up winning comfortably, 5-1 the final scoreline, but there was an excellent script to this production.
There was, of course, the Erik Lamela factor.
He scored a sublime Rabona effort from the edge of the box - adding a volley later in the game. He is finally looking worthy of the money spent on him last summer.
Harry Kane however stole the show.
The England under-21 international scored a sublime first goal, before taking two real poachers goals later in the game to bag a hat-trick.
However, when Hugo Lloris was sent off and Tottenham had made all their changes - Kane had to go between the sticks for the final three minutes or so of the game. He fluffed his lines from a driven free-kick, allowing the ball to squirm into the back of the net just moments after putting the gloves on.
Not great, but he addressed it with this Tweet after the game - along with others from the Tottenham squad...
