Birmingham City have a new frontrunner to become their next manager - and many fans don't like the news.
Indeed, former Burnley, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic boss Owen Coyle has seen his odds slashed for the job by several bookmakers, according to betting website Oddschecker.
Just 24 hours earlier, many Birmingham supporters were relieved that Coyle appeared to be out of the running, with Gary Rowett and Mike Phelan the favourites to succeed Lee Clark, who was recently sacked after a poor run of results - especially at home at St Andrews.
The Blues were said to be in talks with Rowett over the manager's position, with Burton Albion having given them permission to meet with the coach. There have been no concrete developments on that front, though, none that have been publicly announced, anyway.
And the bookies have, for one reason or another, now moved Coyle into pole position. Plenty of Birmingham fans aren't happy...
Some have, however, backed the former Premier League boss to keep the Midlands club in the Championship, which is their main priority after such a bad start to the season. Here, then, are the best supporter reactions to the rumours on Twitter. Would Coyle be the right man for the job?

Owen Coyle would keep us up. There I have said it. Shame appearance and image are more important these days. Its not the apprentice!— Matt Gauder (@mattgauder2) October 24, 2014
