Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback has suggested that they could struggle to win any of their next three matches.
It is a tough schedule and one which Colback doesn't appear too hopeful about, although he does stress that it made the Leicester City win more important.
Newcastle picked up their first win of the season against the Foxes at the weekend and Colback had feared if they hadn't got three points there, they would have been set for an alarming run.
“If we hadn’t won, we’d be going into Tottenham, Man City in the cup and Liverpool without a win,” Colback said to the Shields Gazette.
“They’re tough games. If you don’t get a win there (against Leicester), you could be looking at 10 games without a win."
Despite the matches looking tough, Newcastle will be facing two sides in the league who are also under pressure.
Spurs' start to the campaign has been rather indifferent, whilst Liverpool's has been awful.
The Reds look a far weaker side than they were last season and there is certainly an opportunity to capitalise on their poor form when the two sides meet.
That said, the run of games does look challenging and any points that Newcastle can get will be a bonus as they look to climb up the table and away from the relegation zone.
