Leeds United boss Darko Milanic says he is happy with his young duo, but there is room for improvement.
Leeds United boss Darko Milanic is giving away little when talking about his team selection.
After a creditable 1-1 draw away to Norwich City, he next up has a home game against Wolves in which to aim to pick up his first win.
Quizzed by Radio Yorkshire, Milanic was directly asked if the pair had done enough to earn starting spots against Wolves, and said:
He said: "They are young players, they did good but I also think in the future they must do it better.
"That means they made a few mistakes. It's normal, they have to work hard to improve, but I'm satisfied, I like the way they play."
Adryan was making his first start in English football, but provided the assist for Souleymane Doukara to score Leeds United's only goal of the game.
With Leeds yet to score more than one in a game under Milanic, picking a player as creative as the Brazilian could be vital.
Byram started against Norwich but missed the previous game with Rotherham, with Gaetano Berardi preferred at right-back. Milanic has not picked the same two full-backs in any consecutive game in charge, and it would not be a surprise to see him make adjustments against Wolves.
Wolves currently sit in fourth position, nine points ahead of 15th placed Leeds.
