Xbox One screenshot function won't arrive until 2015

Phil Spencer confirms the screenshot feature will arrive in 2015, and the install times for the console are being improved.

A couple of weeks ago Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed that a screenshot feature would be coming for Xbox One, although he didn't say when. Speaking to IGN yesterday Spencer said: 'As we come back into the new year, we’ll see new stuff, and screenshots is on the list.'

Spencer went on to clarify that the screenshot feature is more complicated to implement than he first thought, saying: 'It’s a little more technically challenging than I thought. Two weeks ago, they think they’ve found a good solution for screenshots. They’re working on it. They know people want it. The team has a path to getting it done, and now it’s just prioritizing.'

The install times on Xbox One is also something Spencer confirmed the team are working on improving.
