The Rs fell out of the Premier League the campaign before last, only for Zamora's play-off final winner to earn them promotion back from the Championship at the first time of asking last term.
One win in eight games, however, sees QPR sit bottom of the league standings - but the striker says he 'genuinely thinks' the club will survive the relegation battle.
“I missed everything. The Premier League is 1,000 times bigger than the Championship and everyone wants to play in it," Zamora told the London Evening Standard.

“I think I’ve made comments like Harry has in the past and that’s how it is,” Warnock told reporters.
“I had a great 12 months [at QPR] but I realise how difficult it is to have him [Taarabt] on board. It’s very difficult."
QPR host Aston Villa at Loftus Road on Monday night, while Warnock takes his Crystal Palace side to West Brom on Saturday.
