Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 23rd October 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 23rd October 2013…
Macey to Arsenal
A year ago today and Arsenal snapped up a talented young goalkeeper, from under the noses of Everton.
Bristol Rovers teenager Matt Macey was snapped up by Arsenal, after undergoing a series of trials at the club.
The giant stopper is highly rated and expected to make an impact on the Arsenal first-team in the future.
Arsenal spent £100,000 in compensation to sign the player and he will now look at taking inspiration from Emi Martinez, who played in the Champions League for the club yesterday.
Chelsea weigh up the Costa
It was reported a year ago today that Chelsea were looking into the potential signature of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.
The striker was set to join Liverpool in the summer previous, but instead he signed a new deal with Atletico - hoping to fill the void left by the recently departed Radamel Falcao.
That he did. He went on to score a bag-full of goals for Los Colchoneros before joining Chelsea in the summer for £32 million.
Costa has been scoring goals galore since the move but recently there have been fears over his fitness and injury worries.
"I thought it was Shinji's best game in my time here.
"He hadn't really found his feet yet but I saw something from Shinji tonight which I hadn't seen in other games, so I was really pleased.
"His effort when we didn't have the ball was fantastic. With Shinji, everybody tells me about his ability and what he has got, but tonight is the first time I’ve really seen Shinji."
But Kagawa did not make an impact at the club, and Sir Alex Ferguson recently said Moyes was to blame for how Kagawa failed at Old Trafford.
